At our notary's office you can grant powers of attorney, have notarial records drawn up, take your Spanish nationality oath (jura de nacionalidad) and legalise documents for international use.

Residence permit and passport
Nationality grant decision (concesión de la nacionalidad)
Original birth certificate
If it is in a foreign language, duly translated and apostilled; if it is written in Spanish, apostilled only.
Mother's birth certificate or parents' marriage certificate
If you only have your father's surname, your mother's birth certificate (apostilled and translated) or, failing that, your parents' marriage certificate (apostilled and translated), in order to establish your mother's maiden name.
Criminal record certificate
Apostilled and translated, where applicable.
Up-to-date certificado de empadronamiento (municipal register certificate)
Registro Civil (Civil Registry) form, duly completed
Telephone number and email address
B) MINORS
Important: For minors under 14, only the parents attend the signing of the deed. If the minor is already 14 or older, they will also sign, assisted by their parents.

After the signing
- •Once the oath deed has been signed, we will notify the Registro Civil (Civil Registry) that the oath has taken place. Please note that our service is limited to this initial notification and does not include the full registration of the file.
- •We will send an electronic authorised copy to the Registro Civil on your behalf. If you wish, you can wait at our office (we will offer you a coffee in the meantime) and you will receive the copy the same day, together with the receipt and the entry registration at the Registro Civil.
- •From then on, you will need to continue the procedure yourself with the Registro Civil to complete your nationality file.
- •You can check the status of your file at any time on the Ministerio de Justicia (Ministry of Justice) website. To do so, you will need to enter your personal details and the file number shown on the submission receipt we will give you.
